claws-mail software package provides Fast, lightweight and user-friendly GTK+2 based email client, you can install in your Debian 9 (Stretch) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install claws-mail
claws-mail is installed in your system.
Make ensure the claws-mail package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep claws-mail *
You will get with claws-mail package name, version, architecture and description in a table
